Personality-
Yoko is a very loud and free spirited girl. She does'nt like being alone because of an old family occurance. She treats
her friends as if they are her family because they are the only people she has. She would never tell a rumor and would stand up for an of her friends even if it could get her suspended from her school. Around perverts , like Kenji -who constantly glomps her-, she gets quickly agitated (especially with Sakura Tanimoto) When it comes to her past she gets very emotional and is prone to crying. If her older sister is disrespected, she gets rather sadistic.

History: Originally from America, Yoko and her parents got in a lethal car crash when she was 7. She should have died but, something had prevented it from happening, her only reminder being a scar on her right cheek. Right after her recovery time was over Her sister and she had moved to Lacrima, a small town in Japan where the rest of her family lived in a clan house. There she meet her best friend Hibiki Shimada. After she turned 12, she went to Hibiki's house to pick something up and ended up staying for a while longer. when she had called her sister and nobody answered she got woried and walked home. when she opened the doors to the estate, she had found her cousins, aunts, and uncles covered with blood, dead. She ran farther into the house only to find her sister missing her arm terribly wounded around her vital organs, a katana through her chest, hanging dead from the ceiling. she took her sister down called the ambulance and a funeral was arranged two days later. two weeks after the funeral, she had seen Hibiki who told her to never look at or speak to him again.She ran crying only to find a girl her age crying too. That girl had turned out to be Aya Mitarashi.

Now- she visits her sisters grave daily with white carnations (flowers that mean rememberance) with Aya or her friend Kagome.

She was originally born a human, but given the role of a carrier to save her life after the car accident by her sister

Even though she is mostly American, her mother named her and her sister due to their father's Japanese backround.
